- Use of Syringe Pumps (B-Braun)
- Intravenous Infusion Pumps (B-Braun)
- Assist with CVC/ VAS CATH insertion
- Competent in drug administration (CVC- copy of signed competency document must be within the last 12 months)
- Care of/ Recording Arterial Lines
- Arterial Blood Sampling
- Interpretation of Electrolytes
- Interpretation of Blood Gases
- Recording 12 Lead ECG
- Urine Output
- Care of Invasive Ventilation (Hamilton ventilator)
- Tracheostomy Wound Care
- Effective Communication Skills
- Management of Chest Drains
- Haemodialysis (CVVHDF- Prismax)
- General Medicine
- Management of Sliding Scale Insulin
- Hypo/Hyper Glycemic Reaction
- Care of Asthma
- Basic ECG Rhythmic Recognition
- Barrier Nursing
- Management of Pressure Areas
