MSI Group is representing a private client in the London area. The post holder will work with the CEO to develop and implement a vision for a talking therapy services. The Head Of Therapy will be responsible for the performance and development of services including Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) ,a private counselling service, and the provision of all short and long term therapy. The post holder will also oversee the work of the ‘My Generation’ service given it’s evidence based approach. As the organisation grows there may be a need to oversee the development of new services.

Job Description

The post offers significant opportunities for innovation, development and growth of existing services.  The post holder will work with the Chief Executive Officer, as part of a Senior Management Team to implement their strategic plan and may need to take on cross-organisational duties which could include:

  • Working with the CEO and SMT to support a culture of wellbeing
  • Working with the SMT and other staff to provide clinical input to service delivery.
  • Working with the CEO and business development manager to provide clinical input to service design and business development.
  • Working with the CEO and SMT to put in place and design an clinical outcomes framework 
  • Develop, in collaboration with the senior management team and staff, an organisation that is fit for purpose, more productive and delivers high quality services as efficiently as possible
  • To represent the organisation externally

Person Specification

  • A professional qualification or equivalent degree related to Psychology, health and/or social care
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs both 1-1 and in groups
  • Experience of working within IAPT
  • Managerial experience
  • Experience of working in advocacy
  • Access to own transport with full. clean driving licence
