MSI on the run in support of bowel cancer UK
On 20th March 2011, MSI group took part in the Clapham Common Series 2011 event in aid of Bowel Cancer UK. We ran 10km in support of this very important charity.
 

The reason we did this run is because we saw it as an excellent opportunity to support a very worthwhile charity. Last year we took part in both a run and cycle to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity and this year we will be supporting both Bowel Cancer UK and the Prostate Cancer Charity.

Movember
Well done to one of the MSI Directors Roland Sheehan who has just completed ‘Movember’ to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer research. He and managed to raise over £300! A big thank you to everyone for their ongoing support towards this valuable cause.
 

MSI Group Company Bike Race 2010
MSI Group participated in the Prostate Cancer Charity Bike Race on the 18th September 2010, as part of our ongoing support for the Prostate Cancer Charity. Congratulations to all of our cyclists who took part, an enjoyable morning was had by all! Cyclists of all abilities had the opportunity to ride the London stage of the Tour of London. Cyclists mingled with celebrities and raised funds for the charity by riding the route for the allotted hour and then relaxed with complementary food and drink to watch the professionals take centre stage! MSI Group has raised £1000-00 for this very important charity. We would like to say a ‘Big’ thank you to everyone who sponsored us and for their ongoing support!
 

New Group Director for 2010
MSI are delighted to have recruited Roland Sheehan to join their senior management team.
Roland has over 16 years’ recruitment industry experience. His vast IT and Telecommunications background within both PLC and SME companies coupled with his medical background will be an asset to our business. He worked in Guys and St Thomas Hospital as a trained Intensive care nurse and can bring a vast amount of expertise and energy to MSI’s multi sector recruitment divisions.
Roland has served on the executive team at Apsco and is delighted to work in the healthcare sector which has always been close to his heart. “I feel I have come home, the people are wonderful and I am thoroughly enjoying my time and looking forward to supporting this very deserving sector and assisting clients in these challenging times”.
 

MSI Nursing Win Major NHS Tender for 2010
MSI Recruitmment have been awarded a three year place on the NHS Buying Solutions Framework for the supply of Nurses across the whole of the UK. This is a significant win for the Group which further highlights the work that the Group performs as a recognised partner to the NHS. MSI continues its aggressive growth plans across its Nursing division to meet the inevitable upsurge in demand for its services in the coming months.
 

MSI Group Company Fun Run 2010
Fourteen staff members from MSI Group completed a 10 k fun run in aid of Prostate Cancer which is the Groups charity of choice . The staff managed to raise £2600 for this worthwhile cause coming 7th in both the male and female group categories .A great sense of team spirit was enjoyed by all who took part and all those who turned up to cheers the runners on.
 

MSI Group go paperless in 2009
MSI have implemented a state of the art Document management system as part of an ongoing directive to continually improve its internal procedures and systems to keep up with the company’s growth and demand for its services. The new system means that the MSI Group is a completely paperless office and its seven years worth of archived documents is now completely electronic. The group have also implemented a new database with numerous new beneficial functions such as SMS texting direct from the database to its candidates and clients and a fully automated Compliance check with alerts.
 
MSI Group in 2009 Catalyst Top 50 fastest growing recruitment agencies
MSI Groups diversification and strong entrepreneurial approach has seen it reach position 28 in the top 50 fastest growing recruitment agencies. This is an important win for the Group as it is industry specific and shows that MSI is an exciting and forward thinking place to work.

Entrepreneur of the year 2008
MSI Groups Managing Director has been nominated for the Recruitment Internationals Entrepreneur of the year 2008.
He was selected by Recruitment International alongside 10 other Directors and came runner up to Kate Bleasdale of HCL .Congratulations to all of the nominees.
