St Helens, Merseyside We are currently looking to recruit qualified social workers with children and families experience. Our client is a local authority and is looking for candidates with a good background in a statutory environment. It is essential that candidates have a minimum of two years post qualifying experience and a thorough understanding of referral and assessment, child protection and safeguarding. Candidates will need to be able to provide a full checkable work history covering a minimum of five years, proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a valid current GSCC certification. The post will also require an enhanced CRB check. The work we have in is on-going and contracts normally start off as 3 months and are usually extended or turn into ongoing.
