Cisco Presales Consultant (London Area)

My client specialises in providing Unified Communications solutions throughout the UK. With their Global Service Delivery Model they have a prestigious portfolio of integrated services. Due to continued growth are looking for Cisco Presales Engineers to work throughout the UK. This position is very technology focused and will see you exposed to some of the latest Cisco technologies! The ideal candidate will have a Unified Communications background.
Role & Duties:
- Regularly presents product information to customers and partners
- Capture customer requirements, designing & proposing fit for purpose solutions
- Deliver Technical presentations to potential business partners
- Complete Request for Proposals, Information & Tenders
- Compiles product information from multiple sources and writes documentation
- Stay updated on current technologies and industry trends
- Create the least cost solution for clients
- Come up with original ideas
Job/Person Requirements:
- Experience in a technical Presales environment
- Solution Design
- Cisco Technologies CCVP, CCNP
- Exposure to Unified Communications
- Exposure to Wireless LAN
- Exposure to Security
- Cisco LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching
- Industry accepted IP Telephony certifications and documented experience (Cisco, Avaya or Nortel preferred)
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills required
- Professional experience working with Marketing and/or Sales Support
- Ability to work in a team to meet critical deadlines
- Commercial awareness is crucial for this role!
